Massage Services

We are proud to offer both massage performed by Practitioners and Registered Massage Therapists at our Studio. All of our Therapists and Practitioners are very knowledgeable and skilled in techniques, however, they differ in their scope of practice.

Practitioner Massage

Practitioners offer massage in different modalities to promote general health and for relaxation purposes only. The price point for Practitioner massage is lower than the Registered Massage Therapy pricing, however, any massage done by a Practitioner will not be reimbursed by your Health Insurance Benefit Plan. Our Practitioners are all Certified, carry liability insurance and possess years of experience.

We are pleased to offer the following
massage modalities with our Practitioners:

Swedish Massage

The most traditional form of Western Massage. A relatively gentle massage used to focus on the body’s superficial layers. It is provided to promote relaxation and increase circulation which makes everything work better.

Deep Tissue Massage

A Massage technique that’s mainly used for  musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

Indian Head Massage

A Hindu massage technique, tracing back to the ancient ways of Ayurvedic Indian health care.  Focusing on kneading the stress out of the neck and shoulder area and then using various movements to massage the head and scalp. Great to increase alertness and stimulate circulation! (20 - 30 minute sessions)

Reflexology/Foot Massage

The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the foot correspond to organs and systems of the body. Pressure applied to the foot is believed to bring relaxation and healing to the corresponding area of the body. This 60 minute treatment involves a spa foot soak and scrub followed by a foot treatment and lower leg massage.

Lomi Lomi

A traditional Hawaiian Massage that combines advanced massage techniques using oils, breathing, prayer and dance to soothe out the body.  The massage works gently into the muscles with the Practitioner using higher body surface contact (Forearms and Hands) than a traditional massage. It is a dance around your body using long continuous strokes from your ankles to your shoulders and is one of the most spiritual massages.

Hot Stone Massage

During a hot stone massage, smooth and heated stones are strategically applied to certain areas of the body. These stones relax the muscles and tissues underneath which allows the Practitioner to apply deeper pressure, without causing pain or discomfort.
